Proof of principle object composition identification based on inductive measurements with an atomic magnetometer has been demonstrated in highly engineered laboratory conditions. Progress the development portable miniaturised magnetometers encouraged parallel measurement technologies involving this sensor, particular concepts that would enable operation complex test scenarios. Here, we explore problem material context performed variable distance between and primary radio-frequency field source sensor.
